Design Management 6.0.6.1 Optional Programs

You can install optional programs to support specific deployments. Install and configure these programs before you install the Jazz Team Server and Design Management capabilities. To ensure that you installed all the required fix packs or service packs for these programs, see the system requirements.

IBM Rational Rhapsody	Trial download	The IBM Rational Rhapsody family provides multiple editions to help systems engineers and embedded software developers analyze, design, develop, test, and deliver embedded, real-time systems and software. The Rational Rhapsody Extension for Design Management provides design editing capabilities that you can use with the Design Management Server. The Rational Rhapsody Extension for Design Management installs into Rational Rhapsody. You can connect Rational Rhapsody to the Design Management Server to edit, search, view, collaborate on, and link designs. You can use Rational Rhapsody to integrate MathWorks Simulink models into Rational Rhapsody designs. For details about the integration, see the online help. For details on how to import Simulink models to the Design Management Server, see the online help. The 6.0.6.1 release of Design Manager can be used with the Rational Rhapsody Extension for Design Management from release 8.3.1 of Rational Rhapsody and earlier. Rational Rhapsody 8.4 does not include this extension.
IBM® Db2®	Db2 downloads	Jazz Team Server and the Change and Configuration Management (CCM), Quality Management (QM), Requirements Management (RM), and Architecture Management (AM) applications support multiple Db2 editions including IBM Db2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition. Each purchased client license for Design Management includes entitlement to a license for one instance of IBM Db2 Advanced Workgroup Server Edition. For usage restrictions, see the license agreement.
IBM WebSphere® Liberty Application Server	WebSphere Liberty Application Server downloads	IBM WebSphere Liberty Application Server can host Jazz Team Server and the CCM, QM, RM, and AM applications. The IBM WebSphere Liberty Embedded Application Server is bundled with the Collaborative Lifecycle Management solution. Each purchased client license for Rhapsody Model Manager includes a license to run one instance of WebSphere Liberty Application Server to support Rhapsody Model Manager. Express editions of WebSphere Liberty Application Servers are also available for IBM i at no additional charge by ordering Web Enablement for IBM i. For use restrictions, see the license agreement.
IBM Rational License Server	Available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses	Rational License Server can serve token license keys for Jazz Team Server. The license server is built with FLEXlm, a third-party component that is developed by Flexera. This program is available to purchasers of Jazz token licenses.
IBM Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence	Replaced by ALM Cognos Connector	The ALM Cognos Connector now replaces IBM Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence. See the Jazz Reporting Service New & Noteworthy page for more details.
IBM IoT MessageSight	IBM IoT MessageSight downloads	IBM IoT MessageSight is included as a high-performance MQTT broker for optional use with Collaborative Lifecycle Management (Rational Team Concert, Rational DOORS Next Generation, Rational Quality Manager), Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager, or Rational Rhapsody Design Manager (Rhapsody Model Manager component).
