License arrangements: two separate RMM modes - Model Management, Model and Code Management
The following license arrangements were introduced in the RMM 7.0.1 release. There are two separate modes: Model Management, Model and Code Management
Model Management ServerThis option entitles you to perform configuration management operations on your Rhapsody models but not on code or any other artifacts. You are only entitled to use the Change and Configuration Management (CCM) application for Rhapsody model management when the CCM application is purchased and deployed as a model management server. When you deploy in this mode, a Rhapsody user consumes a Rhapsody Model Manager Systems and Software Engineer license.
Model and Code Management ServerThis option entitles you to perform all the configuration management (CM) operations that are supported by EWM, including CM operations on Rhapsody models and code. You are entitled to use the Change and Configuration Management (CCM) application for Rhapsody model management, code management, to perform build operations, use the integrations to CC/CQ and Git, and leverage Distributed Source Control Management (DsCM) when the CCM application is purchased and deployed as a model and code management server. When you deploy in this mode, a Rhapsody user consumes a Rhapsody Model Manager Systems and Software Engineer license and an Engineering Workflow Management Developer license.
